Job Description
The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation is a community-based organization dedicated to the students and teachers of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work as a full-time support person to help us achieve our fundraising goals in the Cy-Fair area.

•Learns and effectively performs general office duties and completes multiple projects with deadlines in an efficient manner. Demonstrates ability to work in a fast pace volunteer driven environment.

•Utilizes skills in word processing, data entry, database management, filing and record-keeping to accomplish specific project tasks.

•Must have the ability to maintain, update, and report financial information as needed. The major areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: A/P and A/R.

•Provides courteous, timely and professional service to all internal and external trustees/donors/students/volunteers.

•Effectively manages and shares information and resources.

•Demonstrates an understanding and need of community programs and services.

•Accurately and effectively represents the Foundation and its mission.

•Acts in the best interest of the organization and enhances the image of the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation in the public eye.

•Adheres to all CFEF privacy and confidentiality requirements.

•Supports and collaborates with the Executive Director, Trustees and Volunteers to achieve goals and outcomes related to the Cy-Fair Educational Foundations mission and fundraising priorities.

•Maintains a positive and professional work environment.

•Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year of administrative assistant experience.

•Independent self starter with effective problem solving skills and the ability to analyze and integrate information from relevant sources and make appropriate decisions.

•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills and the demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.

•Remains composed under stress and takes responsibility for delivering on personal and organizational goals and commitments.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and QuickBooks required. Must have working knowledge of spreadsheets and database applications. Ability to perform accounting duties.

•Ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities in a focused and timely manner. Proactively addresses issues as they arise.

•Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. In addition will need to load and unload at time of foundation events.

•Coordinate and organize program events at campus locations.
