DESCRIPTION:L&V Enterprise Resources Inc. is a Houston-based non-profit that is committed to bringing a positive change to local disabled communities\, society\, and the world at large. Here at L&V\, our mission is to empower the disabled through community partnerships and innovative programs that will identify and enhance skills of the disabled and maximize their opportunities to participate in job training\, work programs\, and education. \n\n\n\nOn Saturday 31 July\, from 10am-1pm\, at 13100 Wortham Center Drive (77065)\, L&V is hosting "A Call to Action with Helping Hands".\n"A Call to Action with Helping Hands" is a community fundraising event for L&V non-profit\, in order to further our mission of advocating for employment opportunities for people living with disabilities. The event will feature a panel of incredible speakers\; including the Director of the Department for Disabilities in the Mayor of Houston's Office\, local disabled business owners\, and representatives from state disability departments. There will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes\, catering\, booths from different disability-advocacy organizations\, and the opportunity to receive a free Covid-19 vaccine.\nOur aim for the event is to further develop partnerships to find job placements for people with disabilities.
