Bridgeland Fun Run/Walk for Heroes 2024

Description

The  Bridgeland  Fun Run/Walk for Heroes will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 8 am at the Lakeland Festival Park in Bridgeland in Cypress, TX. The event will include an 8:00 am 5k walk/ 10k timed run around Josey Lake & Park and a 9:00 am children's 1k run around a portion of Bridgeland Lake, along with booth vendors, entertainment, and activities for the children. The children's walk is open to strollers and wagons, the 5k & 10k are not open to strollers or wagons Register at http://blraceforheroes2024.eventbrite.com
Register before August 7, 2024 and save $5 on the standard fee which is $35 for 5K adults and $40 for 10K adults.  Children under ten in the 1K are $25 or less depending on the number of children per family. (Processing fees apply). T-shirt & vendor coupon bag provided before the Race. Cold iced towels, cold water & bananas, bagels with cream cheese provided after the Race. Stay and enjoy the vendors, the games, and inflatables & music. Awards for the top three  male &  female runners in the 10K & 5K. Each kid in the 1K run/walk receives a medal & a goodie bag. First  male & female kid in 1K receive an award. 

Join a  Fun Family Event  which   funds supports our Veterans & the building of the Bridgeland Veterans Memorial, our Memorial Day & Veterans Day Events, our  Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway,  veterans monetary support & minor home repairs, veterans free coffee & pastry & free beer & pizza social events, annual picnic for Camp Hope residents, maintain flags, and maintain a Veterans Facebook page and website.
