Jose Robert Rosillo, MD, FACEP, MBA(c)
Bio:
- Dr. Jose Rosillo is a board-certified emergency physician, executive vice-president for IES Houston, and regional medical director overseeing emergency departments across the Greater Houston area for CommonSpirit Health and OakBend Medical Center. He brings more than a decade of leadership experience in clinical operations, quality improvement, and system-level alignment. Known for driving innovation in throughput, patient experience, and interdepartmental collaboration, Dr. Rosillo is also passionate about empowering physician leaders to impact hospital-wide performance. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Texas, with anticipated completion in December 2025.
Curtis Townsend, RN BSN CEN MHA NE-BC
Bio:
- Curtis serves at the St. Luke's Health-The Vintage Hospital Emergency Department Director with over 30 years as an Emergency Department nurse and over 12 years as a Director of Emergency Services. He has worked in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. He has worked in hospital sizes that have varied from community hospitals to larger academic centers, including trauma centers, FTEs up to 140+ in both complex systems and stand-alone hospitals. He has a strong passion for nurse empowerment and shared governance as evidenced by his long standing and extensive work with the Emergency Nurses Association where he was honored as the National ENA Manager/Leader of Year in 2020.
