Speaker: Dr Veena Watwe - Endocrinologist
Topic: From Prevention to Transition: Understanding Diabetes and Menopause
Bio:
Dr Veena Watwe is a Board certified Endocrinologist practising in Houston area. She completed her residency in internal medicine from State University of New York, Buffalo and fellowship in Endocrinology from Wayne state universit, Michigan. She has been in private practice in the Houston- Cypress area since past 18 years. She specializes in Diabetes mellitus, Thyroid disorders, Menopause, Osetoporosis and several other Endocrine disorders. She also does clinical trials at her clinic and has been a principal investigator in several trials in conjunction with pharmaceutical companies.
Besides medicine, her other interests annd hobbies are singing, acting, modeling, running marathons and traveling.
