FREE 8-WEEK Self Defense Workshop Hosted by The Work Well
This course is designed to equip students from all walks of life with tools necessary to protect themselves and others, to stop an aggressor, and/or buy enough time for a student to escape a situation.
This course is intended for basic/intermediate knowledge of practical techniques needed for situational awareness,
preparedness, self-protection, and evasion. It is not designed to teach students how to win a fight or to hurt/bully others. Some of the techniques have the potential of causing serious injury and even death. Students should be aware of the risks and should use caution when utilizing techniques they learn.
The course is taught at half speed/strength - but may include a few physical challenges for some. It is not designed to be high speed. Extreme care is taken to prevent injuries. Each student will sign a waiver and participate at their own risk.
