Bio: 
Catherine McCreight, MBA, MA, is the Director of Transportation Planning for the Texas Department of Transportation - Houston District.  In this capacity, she oversees all aspects of the Houston District’s transportation planning including systems planning, traffic projections, planning and programming, transportation modeling and data analytics at the micro, meso, and macro level, local government coordination and contracting, MPO oversight, GIS mapping, and performing various planning studies for the Houston District.  She has been with TxDOT for nearly 20 years and has 30 years’ of industry experience in transportation planning and programming, public involvement, and federal oversight.  Bridging innovation and technology to deliver a better and safer travel experience to Houston region commuters is her primary focus.  This is being realized in projects such as The Regional Express Access Lanes Plan and Houston ConnectSmart, an innovative mobility platform designed to reduce congestion over time, space, and mode
