Teresa Hull

Bio:
Ms. Hull's career began in 1987 as a middle school social studies teacher, before joining Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in 1993. She served as an assistant principal and director of instruction before entering district leadership as a director, assistant, and associate superintendent. She was eventually named CFISD?s chief of staff in 2012. As CFISD chief of staff for the past 12.5 years, Ms. Hull provides support to the superintendent, liaison with the Board of Trustees, oversees governmental relations, the Visual & Performing Arts Center, the Mark Henry Administration Building, the Berry Center, outside facility rentals, elections, planning services, enrollment projections, athletics, communication and marketing, and Community Programs.






Karen Smith

Chief Financial Officer at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD

Bio:
Karen Smith is the Chief Financial Officer at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.  Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is the 3^rd largest district in Texas with 118,000 students and a budget of approximately $1 billion.  She has worked in school business for 33 years with experience in budget, accounting, risk management, child nutrition, internal audit and technology.  In addition to all the financial aspects of the district, Karen is also responsible for technology services.  She has a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and a Registered Texas School Business Official.
