A dual-citizen (United Kingdom and United States) with a Nigerian last name, Odus Evbagharu has been a Houston-native since he was ten years old, growing up in the suburb of Cypress. He attended Lowery Elementary, Aragon Middle, and a proud graduate of Langham Creek High School (C/o 2010).
Odus went on to graduate from the University of Houston with a B.S. in political science. He was the former Chief of Staff and current political director for Texas State Representative Jon E. Rosenthal (HD-135), which represents a big portion of Cy-Fair and the house district he grew up in. Odus is engaged as a board member of numerous advocacy groups across Texas. He is the founding principal for Onward Strategy Group, a communications and strategic planning/engagement firm. Odus is a sports fanatic, political junkie, podcast enthusiast, and Houston Cougars (Alma mater) super fan!
