About Us

Cy-Fair Helping Hands (CFHH) is a 501(c (3) non-profit ministry, dedicated to bringing hope to the homeless and hungry. CFHH has been serving the homeless community for 14 years. Originally providing food from the back of a truck, CFHH has grown to now provide assistance through several programs. • Our Day Center provides a place of respite for homeless people, offering hot meals, hot showers, laundry facilities, assistance with applying for documents such as IDs and birth certificates, an address for important mail, a devotional, and some much-needed fellowship. • Street Outreach teams go out weekly to meet with and build relationships with people who live on the streets. These visits aim to identify and assist those willing to make the effort required to modify their lifestyle. For those where shelter is not an option, food, water, inclement weather supplies, and other necessities are delivered, and friendship is extended. • Transitional Family Services provides emergency shelter for families with children, and provision of caseworkers to assist each family in planning the steps to become self-sufficient. • Our Food Pantry provides nutritional foods to families who are struggling financially and cannot purchase groceries for themselves. • Programs in conjunction with CFISD include paying fees for students such as for gym clothes, class fees, graduation caps and gowns, for dual enrollment, and for fees for electives. • Scholarships are provided at Lone Star College for Ceritficate Program students and are financial need based.
