Janye Anderson is a theatre artist and cultural visionary with over 20 years of experience as an actor, producer, and director. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Cypress Stage, the only professional theatre in Cypress, Texas, created to fill a longstanding cultural gap and become a true gathering place for the community.

Driven by a belief that theatre has the power to connect generations, spark imagination, and strengthen civic life, Janye founded Cypress Stage to bring bold storytelling, inclusive programming, and high-quality live performance close to home. Under her leadership, Cypress Stage is building a sustainable arts institution dedicated to community engagement, new works, and accessible theatre for all.
