About Us
Greens Bayou Coalition advocates for quality of life along the Greens Bayou watershed. We do this by:
--Partnering with Harris County Flood Control District and communities for flood resiliency/damage and risk reduction
--Partnering with watershed communities to add and improving parks and trails
--Acquiring grants and funds to support new projects and programs
--Educating communities, businesses and government officials about issues within the watershed
--Providing educational conservation and environmental programs for kids
--Working to improve water quality of Greens Bayou
--Organizing tree plantings and trash cleanups along the bayou
