About Us

The General Heating & Air is a residential HVAC company serving Cypress, Katy, and the master-planned communities of northwest Houston. Veteran-Owned. Family-Run. Dr. Mom Approved.

Co-founders Adé Sampson and La Toya Luces-Sampson, MD built the company on two standards. Adé, a licensed HVAC contractor, spent ten years in the U.S. Air Force as an AGE technician, keeping generators, HVAC, and other environmental control equipment running on the flight line. That training shows up in every job: documented, verified, and done right the first time.

Dr. Toya, a board-certified OB-GYN, leads the brand and the customer experience. Homeowners hear from us the way a physician speaks with a patient: plain language and exactly what you need to make a confident decision.

We provide maintenance, repair, system replacement, and indoor air quality services, with attention to airflow, filtration, humidity control, and full-system performance. The owners are the owners. Calls come to us, and a problem with the work is a problem we personally own.
