At The Lindsay Company Plumbing, we have proudly provided dependable, high-quality plumbing services to Houston and the surrounding areas for more than four decades. Our story began in 1975, when Jim Lindsay moved from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Houston, Texas, in search of new opportunities and a fresh start.

Jim brought with him a strong work ethic and years of experience working in chemical plants, where precision, safety, and reliability were essential. While gaining valuable hands-on experience, Jim knew he wanted to build something of his own. Determined to do so, he pursued his Journeyman Plumbing License and later earned his Texas Master Plumber certification.

In 1982, Jim officially founded The Lindsay Company Plumbing, building the business on a foundation of hard work, honesty, and exceptional service. What began as a one-man operation steadily grew into a trusted, family-owned plumbing company known throughout the community for quality workmanship, reliable solutions, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

As a teenager, Matt Lindsay spent his summers and weekends working alongside his father, learning the plumbing trade from the ground up. From carrying tools to assisting on service calls, he gained hands-on experience and a deep respect for the family business. After graduating from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in finance, Matt explored other career opportunities before ultimately returning home to continue the family legacy.
