Who Will Be the 2026 Woman Making an Impact? Nominations Open Now

Nerdy Girl Success®, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing high school girls for leadership and career success, is now accepting nominations for its annual Women Making an Impact Challenge.

The Challenge honors extraordinary women in the Greater Houston area who demonstrate leadership through philanthropy, mentorship, and advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Nominees who choose to participate will also fundraise in support of Nerdy Girl Success programs, which provide free leadership training, career exploration, mentorship opportunities, scholarships, and field trips for high school girls.

Last year’s participant, Tricia Vincent, shared, “I was honored to be aligned with an organization I wish I had when I was younger. To be in a room of movers and shakers, people genuinely inspired to give back and share their wisdom, was incredible. Opportunities like this remind us that simply sharing our journeys can open doors and change someone’s professional trajectory.”
